AM for High Performance Automotive Symposium

For the second day of PMW Expo, the topic of additive manufacturing will become the focus of the Forum stage. AM technology has come of age and is now applicable far beyond prototypes, with many manufacturers and racecar constructors running components on the road and track.

The Forum will look to address some of the key issues surrounding the use of AM and the benefits it can bring. For example, there is constant development on the materials front with the portfolio of printable materials ever expanding. Meanwhile topics such as process control and effective QC of manufactured parts are vital to the implementation of AM in even small series production. There is then the matter of how engineering workflows can be adapted to make best use of the capabilities of AM and maximise its benefits.

All of these topics and more will be subject to discussion by various industry experts. With a focus on technology transfer to mainstream automotive and beyond, attendees will receive unrivalled intelligence on the ways the high performance automotive and motorsport sectors can drive developments that accelerate the decarbonisation of transport.
