The Professional MotorSport World Awards returned in 2023 with a revised format recognizing excellence in the motorsport supply chain. Without the expertise of the many companies which makeup the motorsport industry, the race teams that take the limelight would not exist. This is why we decided to tweak the awards process to highlight these efforts.

In a first for the awards, they were judged live at the Expo by a panel of industry experts spanning various motorsport specializations from rallying to sportscar racing, and with experience in powertrain, chassis and race engineering.

The awards will be a highlight of the show once again in 2024, presented on the PMW Magazine stage at the end of day one, following the conclusion of the Advance Powertrain Technology Forum.

The categories being judged are:

• Powertrain technology of the year
• Chassis technology of the year - mechanical
• Chassis technology of the year – bodywork and aerodynamics
• Safety innovation of the year
• Data and electronics Solution of the year
• Pit and support equipment of the year
• Overall engineering innovation of the year

The awards are open to all companies exhibiting at the Expo and the judging criteria is rigorously impartial, with our panel of judges drawn from across the motorsport industry and selected for their independence.
