New Pikes Peak record-setting electric motors on show!
Integral Powertrain - Stand 3066

Integral Powertrain will exhibit its Pikes Peak record-setting SPM electric motor family.

Developed by Integral’s e-Drive division, these new motors have been manufactured for used in the VW I.D. R Pikes Peak race car, which smashed the overall record on the infamous Pikes Peak hill climb last June.

The company’s integral e-Drive motors boast a high ratio of power and torque to weight, commonly at around 18kW/Kg (23Nm/Kg) with special developments even achieved 45kW/Kg. In addition, the electric drive systems are scalable, making them suitable for a wide range of motorsport applications.

Apart from the motors, the company plan to showcase its electronic control modules, featuring inverters and a combined motor-gearbox. The technology is also scalable, making it suitable for both high-end racing applications like the I.D. R and smaller projects.
