Internal fracturing from cast-iron engine blocks is a problem for road racing, drift cars and drag race motors. The weak, poured cast-iron cylinder wall often can’t cope with the boost and compression required by competitive motorsport, but ProCross ProCool Cylinder Liner kits from LA Sleeve replace the cast-iron cylinder wall in these engines with a centrifugally spun-cast ductile iron Amphibian wet/dry sleeve.
