Motordrive unveils the 10 year MD10 competition seat

Motordrive will be unveiling the MD10, its brand new, cutting edge 10-year seat range, being promoted as the lightest carbon 10-year seat available for circuit and rally driving.

The range is in test against the 8862-2009 standard and is to be submitted for FIA approval before the end of 2016. The seat features pure carbon shells with an integrated solid wing head restraint, energy absorbing seat padding and a 4-point floor mount with no rear mounting.

A selection of different seat sizes will be available, as will a fitting service and personal customer branding for shells and covers.

Motordrive is a UK business with a 35-year heritage and is set to be the first British manufacturer to produce a full race and circuit 10 year seat range to compete at every level of motorsport.

Following the growth of the company’s UK business, Motordrive is now looking for dealers to grow its European presence.
